World Toilet Day - 19 November 2025

We Will Always Need the Toilet

In an ever-changing world, one constant remains: the need for safe, reliable sanitation.

Regardless of how society evolves, we will always depend on toilets to protect public health, prevent the spread of disease and maintain a clean, dignified environment.

Yet today, billions of people still live without access to a safe toilet—with the poorest and most vulnerable communities, particularly women and girls, disproportionately affected.

Access to sanitation is a fundamental human right, essential to living a healthy, dignified and productive life. Ensuring every person has access to safe, resilient and hygienic sanitation would save thousands of lives each year and lay the groundwork for stronger, healthier and more prosperous communities.

We need toilets for everyone, everywhere.

No matter how the world changes, this need will never disappear. The responsibility lies with us—governments, organisations and communities—to ensure that sanitation solutions are fit for the future, sustainable and accessible to all.

Let’s act now to deliver safe toilets that protect people, empower communities and secure a healthier tomorrow.

How is Envirosan Sanitation Solutions making a difference?

Envirosan Sanitation Solutions is committed to eradicating unsafe and undignified toilets and have successfully installed our patented, Agrement approved 2L Low Flush toilets, (the Eaziflush™) to more than 300 schools, supplying a dignified, healthy, and safe environment for all users, with an average construction turnaround time of 2 weeks per school.

Together, we can make a difference - One flush at a time!

The Eaziflush operates effectively as a direct Water saving sanitation solution.

When comparing the Eaziflush system to conventional water borne sanitation systems (even in the absence of utilizing grey water as flushing medium), the following becomes apparent:

Eaziflush Solution (six occupants each flushing five times per day)

= 60 litres

Conventional toilet (six occupants each flushing five times per day)

= 270 litres

Daily minimum water saving per household

= 210 litres
