You don't ask why something is happening, ask, what are you going to learn from the situation

You need to be clear about your objectives, why you are where you are and what it is that you want to achieve

Women have the ability to remain calm in the face of storms, are collaborative in nature and are able to pull people together

I view work-life balance a bit like a see-saw, because sometimes there is more of it and sometimes less

Never doubt yourself, you can achieve. You learn along the way that you have to push yourself through the crowd

We are born with different skills-sets and have been put on earth to serve a higher purpose in life

There are numerous women out of the limelight who are doing the most for people

Taking advantage of every opportunity

I love South Africa and don't plan to leave, we have to conform and survive the challenges and strive to make it work

Don't just talk to like-minded people, talk to divergent people to get as many different perspectives as possible

Success does not come from luck; it comes from hard work and determination

If the vision is clear, the how-to will be invented

Hand-outs fail to empower people and have negative effects. On the other hand, making work available to a person goes along with dignity and empowerment

I believe it's a level playing field, but we have to play our part too. The right mindset is vital

Let her be a dreamer who always wore her heart on her sleeve, the eternal optimist, always looking for the best in others

Have a dream, and pursue it with grace and boldness

I always knew exactly what I wanted to achieve

Being a woman should not be looked upon as a handicap but rather a compliment

Education is power, you need to start as soon as possible, find your purpose and work on that

Focus on the contribution you bring to the table, make sure you raise your voice when you need to be heard

You are enough as you are, your past will not define your future. The future is as good as you will choose it to be for yourself

Plan in advance and do not leave everything for the last minute

A business is only as good as the people it employs

If you're prepared to fight for what you want, nothing is impossible

Hold your head up high, and just go with it

I strongly believe that human capital is our most valuable asset

Compassion is the greatest kindness we can have for this world

We are taught to train our bodies and value our intellect, but we need to learn to regulate our emotions

Take one step at a time and prioritise; ask for an advice and be confident about what you are doing

Everything will be ok; you'll figure it out

Don't compare yourself to anyone else, as you are the only one in the world who is you

I am inspired and humbled every day by the women on our staff. They are the face of the company

If I could offer my younger self some advice, it would be don't be so hard on yourself. Even bad decisions are stepping-stones to growth, so there's no point in agonising over mistakes

Only you have the power through resilience, focus and determination to succeed. In defining the word 'success' one finds that it is different for each person

Be assertive. It's not always easy to stand up for your rights, but don't walk away from challenging situations

Not everything needs to be done in one day and accept where you are at presently and live in the moment
